Today after breakfast checkout from the hotel at Chennai and depart for Trichy, the citadel of the Chola Dynasty. On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. You later proceed on a sightseeing tour visiting the Rock Fort and the mystic Srirangam Island, a living example of the ancient temple towns of the South. Overnight at hotel.
Today after breakfast Proceed on a full day excursion to Tanjore the ancient capital of Tamilnadu. Visit the famous Brihadeshwara Temple built in 10th Century and the Saraswati Mahal Library which houses palm leaf & paper manuscripts. Overnight at hotel.
Post breakfast sightseeing tour of Rock Fort Temple and Srirangam Temple that are largely visited as part of tours. Return to the hotel at noon and then proceed to Madurai, the magnificent temple town of Tamil Nadu. Upon arrival, check in to hotel for night stay.
After breakfast, leave for a full-day city sightseeing tour covering Gandhi Museum, Tirumalai Nayak Mahal and Vaniyur Mariamman Teppakulam. Return to the hotel at noon. We take you for a visit to the beautiful Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple in the evening. Witness the prayer ceremony (Aarti) here and then retire to the hotel for night stay.
