Day 01:- Chennai Arrival


Upon arrival at Chennai airport / Railway station. Chennai is one of the four major metropolitan cities of India and it is the capital of Tamilnadu state the exotic state famous for its temples. Chennai famous land mark like Anna salai Merine beach Gandhi Memorial, Kala Kshetra, Mylapore temple and kapaleshwaran temple, on arrival check into hotel Deccan Plaza and overnight stay.


Day 02:- Chennai - Kanchipuram – Chennai (Approx 80 kms/ 02-03 Hrs)


After Morning breakfast and proceed to Kanchipuram. Kanchipuram is the city of thousand temples and one of the seven most sacred pilgrim centers for the Hindus and it is the ancient capital of the Pallavas kingdom on arrival kanchipuram visit Ekambaswara, Kailasanatha, Sri Kamakshi and Varadarajaswamy temple. Return back to hotel, Overnight stay at Chennai.. 


Day 03:- Chennai – Pondicherry (Approx 180 kms/ 03-04 hrs)


After Morning breakfast check out from Chennai, and proceed to Pondicherry on arrival check in hotel and rest of the day is free to shopping and other activities and overnight stay at hotel Ananda.


Day 04:- Pondicherry


After Morning breakfast proceed for a local tour of Pondicherry visit Aurbindo Ashram, which is 10 kms north of Pondicherry. This ashram promotes Aurbindo's ideas in bringing about a synthesis of Yoga and modern science, so as to unite the spirit and matter, Later visit Auroville - a unique experiment in international living and in creating a new environment where men and women of all nationalities live together in harmony later visit Bharati Museum, Bharatidasan Museum, Botanical Garden, Eglise De Sacre Coeur De Jesus, Thiruvakkarai, evening relax at pondicherry beach shore and overnight stay at hotel.


Day 05:- Pondicherry – Tanjore (Approx 180 kms / 4 hrs)


After breakfast drive to Tanjore. Tanjore was the capital of Chola Kings, on arrival Tanjore check in hotel and later proceed for a local tour of tanjavore visit Rahadeswara temple (or the big temple of God).The temple tower rises to a height of 15mts from a square base of 29 mts and then tapers off, making a total of 66mts and then visit Tanjavore Palace, Art Gallery, Saraswathi Mahal Library, Schwartz Church, Thiruvaiyaru etc evening return back to hotel and overnight stay at hotel Sangam.


Day 06:- Tanjore - Tirchy – Madurai ( Approx 190 kms / 4 hrs)


After Morning breakfast check out hotel at Tanjore, and drive to Trichy on arrival visit Rock Fort Temple , Kodumbalur, Kudumianmalai ,government Museum etc.. And then proceed to Madurai on arrival check in hotel and rest of the day is free for shopping and overnight stay at Hotel Fortune Pondyan.


Day 07:- Madurai


Leave for a post-breakfast temple tour covering the exquisite Meenakshi Temple that is a part of all tours to South India. Later visit the Tirumalai Nayak Palace and return to the hotel for overnight stay.


Day 08:- Madurai – Rameshwarama ( Approx 170 kms / 3 ½ hrs)


After Morning breakfast check out and proceed to Rameshawaram on arrival Rameshawaram check in hotel and later proceed for a local tour of Rameshwarama the most sacred temple town of India. Which is where the present day Ramanatha Swamy Temple stands close to sea on the eastern side of the island. One of the twelve Jyotirlingam shrines is also well known for its magnificent corridors and the massive sculptured pillars lining them. According to the Ramayana this is the place where Rama worshipped Lord Shiva to absolve himself of the sin of killing Ravana. Visit Ramanathaswamy Temple Dhanushkodi Agnitheertham Gandamadana Parvatham etc evening return back to hotel and overnight stay at Rameshwaram.


Day 09:- Rameshwaram – Kanyakumari (Approx 300 kms / 5 hrs)


After Morning breakfast check out hotel and proceed to Kanyakumari on arrival check in hotel and later proceed for a local tour of Kanyakumari visit Vevakananda rock, Gandhi Museum, Kumari Amman Temple etc evening after sun set return back to hotel and overnight stay at hotel.


Day 10:- Kanyakumari – Kovalama (Approx 90 kms / 02 ½ hrs)


After Morning breakfast check out from hotel at Kanyakumari, and drive to Kovalam on the way visit Trivanduram Ananatha padmanabha temple, Napir museum, Kuthiramalika palace etc and proceed to Kovalam on arrival kovalam  check in hotel, and rest of the day is free for your own activities. Over night stay at Kovalam.


Day 11:- Kovalam


After Morning breakfast proceed for a local tour of Kovalam. The word kovalam mean's the grove of the coconut tree. Kovalam is world famous Indian beach and liked by the incoming foreigner's this beach is boarded by blue water's & lush coconut gardens. The clear water & favorable climate make kovalam beach a favorite for tourist round the year. Evening return back to hotel for night stay.



Day 12:- Kovalam – Varkala (Approx 60 kms / 1 ½ hr)


After enjoying the delicious breakfast proceed to Varkala. Reach & check-in at the hotel. Later explore the beach on your own Varkala is a calm and quiet hamlet which lies on the outskirts of Thiruvananthapuram district. The secluded beach, craggy rocks and the hint of undulating backwaters. Papanasam Beach is among the prominent places of Varkala Beach. The evening sun dipping slowly into the mammoth ocean and filling the whole place with colours red and orange is a breathtaking view.  Overnight stay at the Hotel/Resort.


Day 13:- Varkala – Alleppey  Houseboat ( Approx 120 kms / 2 ½ hrs)


After the breakfast check out from Varkala,  Proceed to the Alleppey  boat Jetty, board the traditionally decorated houseboats and begin the enchanting backwater cruise. The backwaters of Kerala is a unique product of Kerala and is found nowhere else in the world. Sparkling greens, emerald backwaters, coir-laden houseboats and magical beauty heals your mind and body as you travel to surreal Kerala. Overnight stay in the Houseboat.


Day 14:- Alleppey  Houseboat – Thekkady (Approx 150 kms / 04 hrs)


After having the breakfast proceed to Thekkady which offers diverse attractions like Wildlife Sanctuary, Hill Station and Spice Plantation. Reach & check-in at the hotel. Later proceed to the most attractive feature of Thekkady i.e. Periyar Wild life Sanctuary. You can recreate yourself by having optional activities like Spice Plantation Tour, Bamboo Rafting, Trekking and Elephant ride. Visit the local spice market for some garden fresh spices and handicrafts. Overnight stay at the Hotel Aranya Nivas.


Day 15:- Thekkady – Kumarakom (Approx 130 kms / 04 hrs.)


After the breakfast proceed to Kumarakom. Reach & check-in at the hotel.  Kumarakom is one of the few places in the world where the means for transportation is through boats. The major attraction of Kumarakom is the Bird Sanctuary which lies at the edge of the grounds of an old estate where a profusion of all kinds of birds can be observed. Domestic birds such as cuckoo, wild duck, egrets, darters, herons, teal, and water fowl can be seen in abundance here. Overnight stay at the Hotel Backwater Ripples.


Day 16:- Kumarakom - Cochin(Approx 100 kms / 2 hrs.)


Today check out from hotel at Kumarakom and proceed to Cochin. On arrival  Check-in and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Explore the rest of the day at your own leisure by moving around on the local several quaint spots. The major tourist attractions are Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, Jewish Synagogue, and Mattancherry palace/Dutch Palace. Overnight stay at the Hotel.


Day 17:- Cochin drop


After enjoying the breakfast check out from your hotel, If time permits visit Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, Jewish Synagogue, and Mattancherry palace/Dutch Palace, Last minute shopping. In the evening drop at Cochin airport to board the flight.
