Aurangabad Tour-Duration - 09 Nights / 10 Days


Day 01 - Arrival at Mumbai


You will be received by our representative upon your arrival at the Mumbai airport / railway station. Later transfer to hotel in Mumbai. Checkin, amidst the comforts of your room and spend the second half of the day relaxing in your room. Day at leisure and overnight stay at the hotel in Mumbai.


Day 02 - Mumbai Sightseeing


After breakfast at the hotel, spend the entire day exploring the vibrant city of Mumbai . There are so many significant tourist hotspots you can visit like the 1920-constructed Marine Dive area lining the shores of the Arabian Sea from Nariman Point to the foot of Malabar hills, the Chowpatty Beach, Hanging Gardens, Gateway of India, Prince Charles Museum and so on. Evening back to the hotel for overnight stay.


Day 03 - Mumbai - Nashik (200 kms/ 04-05 hrs)


In the morning,checkout from the hotel at Mumbai and drive to Nasik which's among the principal producers of grapes and onions in India. Reach and check in at the hotel upon arriving at the city of Nasik. In the second half of the day, you tour the Panchvati area where river Godavari flows. As per Hindu mythology, Lord Rama along with his wife Sita and brother Lakshman spent some time here. This place is thus dotted with a number of temples. Back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 04 - Nashik - Aurangabad (230 kms / 05 hrs)


Today after breakfast checkout from the hotel at Nashik and leave for a morning excursion to nearby Triambakeshwar temple, which is counted among the 12 Jyotirlingas (Shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva) in India. The remarkable feature of the Jyotirlinga located here is that it has three faces embodying Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva. Later on, Later drive to Aurangabad and check in at a hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Aurangabad.


Day 05 – Aurangabad (Ajanta caves are closed on Monday and Ellora caves on Tuesday).


After breakfast, spend the entire day seeing the world famous Ajanta and Ellora caves located on the outskirts. Known as Khadke originally, the region was founded in the year 1610 by Malik Ambar. It was rechristened as Aurangabad after the name of Mughal emperor Aurangazeb. After sightseeing, you get back to your hotel in Aurangabad where spend the night.


Day 06 - Aurangabad - Pune (300 kms/ 04-05 Hrs)


You get up and have breakfast at the hotel you are boarding. Later on, you will be transferred to Mumbai airport or railway station for back home or for your onward journey to the next destination from here.Today after breakfast checkout from the hotel at Aurangabad and proceed for sightseeing in the city of Aurangabad. Among the popular tourist spots you hit are Aurangzeb Tomb, Windmill and so on. Later drive to Pune. Reach and checkin at hotel in Pune. Day at leisure and overnight stay at the hotel.


Day 07 - Pune Sightseeing


Today after breakfast proceed for sightseeing at Pune.In 937 AD, Pune was called Punya Vishaya and was then an agricultural region. By 13th under the rule of the Sultan, it began to be called Kasbe Pune and thereafter, Poona by the British. It is since last few years that it began being called Pune. There are many places of tourist interest here like Agha Khan Palace, Osho commune centre, Pataleshwar Cave Temple, Raja Kelkar Museum, Film And Television institute, etc. You spend the whole day sightseeing in Pune. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pune.


Day 08 - Pune – Lonavala (Approx 70 kms/ 01 ½ Hrs)


Today after breakfast checkout from the hotel at Pune and drive to Lonavala. Enroute halt for sometime to see the Bhaja Caves. Located near the Lonavala hill station, the Bhaja Caves are a group of 18 rock-cut caves dating back to 200 BC. Here, you will also see a group of 14 stupas (dome-shaped monuments housing Buddhist relics) - five inside and nine outside the caves. In the evening reach Lonavala and check in the hotel for overnight stay.


Day 09 - Lonavala Sightseeing


After breakfast in the morning, your leave for an excursion to see the Karla Caves situated nearby. Karla Caves is a splendid example of Indian rock-cut architecture. It is actually a complex of cave shrines built by Buddhist monks in around 3rd to 2nd century B.C. and is located on a major trade route running from the Arabian Sea eastward into the Deccan. You return to your Lonavala hotel room by evening and stay there overnight.


Day 10 - Lonavala - Mumbai


Today after brealfst checkout from the hotel at Lonavala and spend the day exploring the scenic beauty of Lonavala hill station. You can see tourist hotspots like Ryewood Park, Christian Cemetery, Bushy dam, Duke's Nose and other places. Then drive to Mumbai. Later drop at Mumbai airport to board the flight…
